Постоянно напряжение мышц приводит к перегрузке сократительных элементов мышечной ткани с последующим ее повреждением и выходом ионов кальция из саркоплазматического ретикулума без их последующего обратного поглощения. Хронические нагрузки, обусловленные длительным сокращением, или их чрезмерное утомление при множественных сокращениях приводят к перенапряжению и развитию дисфункции височно-нижнечелюстного сустава. Для предупреждения развития заболеваний, обусловленных гипертонусом жевательных мышц, необходимо в первую очередь воздействовать на мышечную ткань. Одним из неинвазивных методов является озонирование мышечной ткани. Проведение сравнительного анализа эффективности данного физиотерапевтического метода для купирования гипертонуса жевательных мышц и послужило целью исследования.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Для оценки эффективности проводимой терапии проведено экспериментальное исследование. 30 лабораторным животным был смоделирован гипертонус жевательных мышц. Крысы были разделены на две группы. 1-й группе проводилось лечение общепринятой методикой, 2-й группе – выполнение непосредственного озонирования жевательной мускулатуры. Оценивали качественные (площадь воспалительного инфильтрата, объемная доля кровеносных сосудов, площадь мышечной ткани) и полуколичественные (выраженность воспаления, наличие отека, наличие некроза) параметры спустя 14 дней проводимой терапии.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. В 1-й группе отмечались нарушения морфологической структуры мышечной ткани, проявляющиеся дезорганизацией и гипертрофией волокон, местами с разветвлением, уменьшение объемной доли кровеносных сосудов, увеличение площади мышечных волокон за счет увеличения их размеров, сохранялось воспаление и отек. Выявленные изменения свидетельствовали о значимых нарушениях питания мышечной ткани, что обусловлено ее спастичностью. Во 2-й группе в отдельных случаях сохранялись признаки незначительного очагового отека, отмечалось изолированное полнокровие сосудов. Объемная доля кровеносных сосудов статистически значимо не отличалась от показателя интактной мышечной ткани. Лимфоидно-клеточная инфильтрация отсутствовала. Деструктивные и некротические изменения не наблюдались.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. В выполненном экспериментальном исследовании доказано действие озонирования как миорелаксанта для купирования спастичности мышечной ткани. Во всех группах побочных явления и осложнений не выявлено. Проводимое лечение не вызывает грубых дистрофических и деструктивных процессов.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. Persistent tension in muscle tissue leads to overload of contractile elements, causing structural damage and the release of calcium ions from the sarcoplasmic reticulum without subsequent reuptake. Chronic muscular overload due to prolonged or repetitive contractions contributes to excessive strain and may result in temporomandibular joint dysfunction. To prevent disorders associated with masticatory muscle hypertonicity, therapeutic interventions should primarily target the affected muscle tissue. One non-invasive approach is the application of ozone therapy. This study aimed to conduct a comparative evaluation of the effectiveness of ozone therapy in alleviating hypertonicity of the masticatory muscles.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. An experimental study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the proposed therapeutic method. Hypertonicity of the masticatory muscles was induced in 30 laboratory rats, which were then randomly assigned to two groups. The first group received standard treatment, while the second group underwent direct ozone therapy targeting the masticatory muscles. After 14 days of treatment, both qualitative parameters (inflammatory infiltration area, volume density of blood vessels, muscle tissue area) and semi-quantitative indicators (inflammation severity, as well as signs of edema and necrosis) were assessed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. In the first group, the muscle tissue exhibited structural disorganization and fiber hypertrophy, with occasional branching, reduced volume density of blood vessels, and increased muscle fiber area due to hypertrophy. Inflammatory response and edema persisted. These findings indicated significant impairment of tissue perfusion due to sustained spasticity. In the second group, only minor focal edema and isolated vascular engorgement were observed. The volume density of blood vessels did not differ significantly from that in intact muscle tissue. No lymphocytic infiltration, necrotic changes, or tissue destruction were detected.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. This experimental study demonstrated the myorelaxant effect of ozone therapy in alleviating muscle spasticity. No adverse effects or complications were observed in either group.
