Высокая распространенность кариеса зубов определяет необходимость выявления факторов риска развития кариеса в детском возрасте. Целью исследования было определение факторов риска развития кариеса зубов у детей ключевых возрастных групп.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. В исследовании участвовали родители детей 3 и 6 лет и школьники 12 и 15 лет. Для выявления факторов риска развития кариеса у детей использовали анкету Всемирной организации здравоохранения. Анкетирование было добровольным и анонимным.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлено, что риск возникновения кариеса у детей обусловлен недостаточным вниманием к вопросам гигиены рта и питания. Многие дети чистили зубы только раз в день, не применяли фторидную зубную пасту и дополнительные средства гигиены рта. В питании детей часто присутствовали кариесогенные продукты и напитки. Большинство детей посещали врача-стоматолога реже двух раз в году. У многих детей не проводилась профилактика кариеса методом герметизации фиссур моляров.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Выявлена высокая распространенность факторов риска возникновения кариеса зубов у детей, что актуализирует необходимость внедрения программ стоматологического просвещения и профилактики кариеса.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. The high prevalence of dental caries underscores the importance of identifying risk factors for its development in childhood. The objective of this study was to identify the risk factors associated with dental caries in children from key age groups.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The study involved parents of children aged 3 and 6 years, as well as schoolchildren aged 12 and 15 years. Caries risk factors were assessed using the World Health Organization’s oral health questionnaire. Participation was voluntary and anonymous.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The risk of developing dental caries in children was linked to inadequate attention to oral hygiene and dietary habits. Many children brushed their teeth only once a day, did not use fluoride toothpaste, and lacked additional oral hygiene measures. Cariogenic foods and beverages were frequently included in their diets. Most children visited the dentist less than twice a year. Preventive measures, such as fissure sealing of molars, were not commonly performed.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
