Сахарный диабет 1 типа – хроническое метаболическое заболевание аутоиммунного характера, которое наиболее часто встречается у пациентов детского и подросткового возраста. Низкий уровень метаболического контроля эндокринной патологии приводит к увеличению риска развития различных осложнений, в том числе и стоматологических заболеваний. Формирование междисциплинарного подхода с целью повышения уровня стоматологического здоровья детей с сахарным диабетом 1 типа является актуальной проблемой современной стоматологии.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Обобщение информации о взаимосвязи между сахарным диабетом 1 типа и стоматологическим здоровьем детей и подростков.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Поиск публикаций проводился в электронной поисковой системе по биомедицинским исследованиям PubMed, в электронной библиотеке eLibrary и в базах данных MEDLINE, Embase по заданным ключевым словам. Также был осуществлен ручной поиск в пристатейных списках литературы.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. В ходе изучения данной научной проблемы были выявлены наиболее часто встречающиеся стоматологические заболевания у детей и подростков с сахарным диабетом 1 типа. Были определены биомаркеры, по количественному содержанию которых можно эффективно отслеживать уровень стоматологического здоровья. Установлены основные пробелы в виде недостаточно изученных областей рассматриваемой патологии поджелудочной железы в ассоциации с ее стоматологическими проявлениями.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Поиск взаимосвязи между звеньями патогенеза сахарного диабета 1 типа у детей и подростков и их стоматологическим статусом является актуальной задачей детской стоматологии и эндокринологии, разрешение которой позволит спланировать наиболее эффективные лечебно-профилактические программы и повысить уровень диагностики стоматологических заболеваний. Противоречивость результатов некоторых исследований свидетельствует о необходимости дальнейшего изучения данной проблемы и подтверждает актуальность междисциплинарного подхода в изучении проявлений рассматриваемой эндокринной патологии.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. Type 1 diabetes mellitus is a prevalent chronic metabolic autoimmune condition among children and adolescents. The compromised metabolic control associated with this endocrinopathy elevates the risk of various complications, including oral diseases. Establishing an interdisciplinary approach to enhance oral care for young patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus is crucial in contemporary dentistry.</p></sec><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective. To synthesize information regarding the relationship between type 1 diabetes mellitus and oral health in children and adolescents.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The search strategy involved both electronic and manual searches, querying key databases like PubMed, eLibrary, MEDLINE, and Embase using specific keywords related to the subject. Additionally, a manual search was conducted in the references of relevant articles.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The literature review identified the most frequently occurring oral diseases in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus. It highlighted key biomarkers for monitoring oral health in these patients. The review uncovered major gaps in understanding the oral manifestations of type 1 diabetes mellitus.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. Exploring the links between pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes mellitus in young populations and their oral health is pivotal for pediatric dentistry and endocrinology. Addressing this issue could lead to more effective treatment strategies, enhance preventive measures, and improve the diagnostic accuracy of oral diseases.
