На результаты лечения пульпита может влиять негативное поведение детей. Целью исследования было изучение эффективности биологического метода лечения хронического фиброзного пульпита во временных молярах у детей с негативным поведением.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. В исследовании участвовали 60 детей в возрасте 3-6 лет с негативным поведением (по шкале Франкла). До начала лечения проводилась немедикаментозная психологическая коррекция поведения детей. Биологический метод лечения пульпита проведен в 120 временных молярах. При повторных осмотрах через 6, 12, 18 и 24 месяцев определяли состояние пломб, наличие/отсутствие клинико-рентгенологических признаков осложнений. Эффективность лечения пульпита определяли по показателю «выживаемость зубов».</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Через 6 месяцев после лечения пульпита частота осложнений, приведших к удалению зубов составляла 15,0%, через 12 месяцев – 1,7% (p &lt; 0,001); через 18 и 24 месяцев осложнений не было. В течение первых 12 месяцев в 4,1% случаев потребовалось повторное лечение пульпита методом пульпотомии. Частота повторного лечения, вследствие необходимости устранения дефектов пломб, составляла через 6 месяцев 20,8%, затем значительно снижалась до 1,0-3,3% (p &lt; 0,001). 24-месячная эффективность лечения пульпита по показателю «выживаемость зубов» составила 83,3%. Не выявлено статистически значимых различий между результатами лечения пульпита в зависимости от возраста детей, локализации кариозных полостей, прямого или непрямого покрытия пульпы.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Биологический метод лечения хронического фиброзного пульпита во временных молярах у детей в возрасте 3-6 лет с негативным поведением имел высокую 24-месячную эффективность на амбулаторном стоматологическом приеме (с предварительной психологической коррекцией поведения детей). Большинство осложнений развивались в течение первых 6 месяцев после лечения, чему способствовали дефекты пломбирования зубов.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. Сhildren's negative behaviour may affect pulpitis treatment results. The study aimed to study the vital pulp therapy effectiveness for chronic fibrous pulpitis treatment in primary molars of children with negative behaviour.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. The study involved 60 children aged 3-6 years with negative behaviour (according to the Frankl scale). Before the treatment, the children had non-pharmacological psychological behaviour management. One hundred and twenty primary molars were treated for pulpitis using the biological method. Follow-ups assessed the condition of the fillings and the presence/absence of clinical and radiographic signs of complications after 6, 12, 18 and 24 months. Tooth survival rate determined the effectiveness of pulpitis treatment.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The after-pulpitis-treatment complication rate where tooth extraction was necessary amounted to 15.0% after six months and 1.7% after 12 months (p&lt;0.001); there were no complications after 18 and 24 months. During the first 12 months, 4.1% of cases required retreatment of pulpitis by pulpotomy. The retreatment rate due to filling defects was 20.8% after six months, and it then significantly decreased to 1.0-3.3% (p &lt; 0,001). The tooth survival rate after pulpitis treatment was 83.3% after 24 months. There were no statistically significant differences between the pulpitis treatment results based on the children’s age, the localization of the carious cavities, and direct or indirect pulp capping.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The biological method of chronic fibrous pulpitis treatment in primary molars of children aged 3-6 years with negative behaviour had high 24-month effectiveness at an outpatient dental appointment (with preliminary psychological behaviour management).
