В статье проведен основанный на данных литературы анализ применения пробиотиков для профилактики кариеса. Описаны результаты клинического исследования эффективности пробиотического препарата «ДентоБЛИС», содержащего штаммы Str.salivarius M18 и витамин D, во время ортодонтического лечения у подростков.  </p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Проведено открытое одноцентровое сравнительное исследование применения в течение месяца пробиотического комплекса «ДентоБЛИС», в котором приняли участие 40 подростков с кариесом зубов, находящихся на ортодонтическом лечении несъемной ортодонтической техникой.  </p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Через месяц применения комплекса «ДентоБЛИС» отмечено снижение индекса гигиены на 16,45%, индекса гигиены брекетов – на 26,58%, снижение индекса Мюлеманна – Коуэлла – на 16,67%, а также выявлено снижение уровня галитоза по ВАШ на 24,92%, по концентрации ЛСС – на 34,48%. «ДентоБЛИС» влияет на биохимические показатели слюны, отражающие состояние микробиоты: достоверное повышение рН с 6,88 ± 0,04 до 6,95 ± 0,04, снижение уровня белков слюны с 5,01 ± 0,48 до 3,68 ± 0,44 г/л, снижение уровня глюкозы с 0,45 ± 0,07 до 0,29 ± 0,02 ммоль/л и АСТ с 10,87 ± 1,18 до 7,73 ± 0,94 Е/л.  </p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Применение пробиотического препарата «ДентоБЛИС» у подростков с кариесом зубов, находящихся на ортодонтическом лечении, снижает образование зубного налета и уровень галитоза, уменьшает кровоточивость десны. Биохимический анализ выявил изменения некоторых параметров смешанной слюны после применения «ДентоБЛИС», что свидетельствует о положительном влиянии препарата на микробиоту полости рта. </p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. The article analyzes the literature data on the use of probiotics for caries prevention. It presents clinical study results of the effectiveness of the DentoBLIS probiotic with Str. Salivarius M18 strain and vitamin D during orthodontic treatment in adolescents.  </p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. We conducted an open single-centre comparative study on the DentoBLIS one-month administration to 40 adolescents with fixed orthodontic appliances and dental caries.  </p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The DentoBLIS one-month use demonstrated a decrease in the oral hygiene index by 16.45%, braces hygiene index – by 26.58%, the Muehlemann-Cowell index reduction by 16.67%, and an anti-halitosis effect – decrease in halitosis severity according to the VAS by 24.92%, according to the concentration of volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs) by 34.48%. DentoBLIS affects the saliva biochemical parameters, reflecting the microbiota condition: a significant increase in pH from 6.88 ± 0.04 to 6.95 ± 0.04, a decrease in saliva protein level from 5.01 ± 0.48 to 3.68 ± 0.44 g/l, decrease in glucose level from 0.45 ± 0.07 to 0.29 ± 0.02 mmol /l and GOT from 10.87 ± 1.18 to 7.73 ± 0.94 U/l.  </p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The DentoBLIS probiotic reduces plaque formation, gingival bleeding and halitosis severity in adolescents with dental caries during orthodontic treatment.
