Имеется значительное количество публикаций по оценке кариеса и флюороза зубов у детей, проживаюших в зонах эндемии флюороза. Исследования, посвященные анализу частоты и тяжести нарушений прикуса у таких детей, малочисленны и противоречивы.</p><p>Целью исследования явилась индексная оценка распространенности и тяжести нарушений прикуса у школьников в очаге эндемии флюороза.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. По методике ВОЗ с участием калиброванного эксперта выполнено одномоментное стоматологическое обследование 361 школьника 12 и 15 лет, проживаюшего в условиях повышенного уровня фторидов в питьевой воде (1,5-4,5 ppmF). Для оценки клинических форм флюороза зубов применяли классификацию ВОЗ, для оценки распространенности и тяжести нарушений прикуса - индекс DAI. Обработка полученной информации осуществлялась с помощью программы SPSS® Statistics 23.0.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлена высокая распространенность флюороза зубов среди обследованных школьников с преобладанием легких форм патологии. У большинства учеников имелись зубочелюстные аномалии, в структуре которых незначительные нарушения прикуса диагностировались наиболее часто.</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. Исследование не выявило различий между частотой и тяжестью фториндуцированных поражений зубов, нарушений прикуса в изученных возрастных и гендерных группах. Распространенность и выраженность зубочелюстных аномалий были сопоставимыми в выборках учеников, свободных от флюороза зубов и имеющих различные клинические формы данной патологии.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. There are a lot of publications on the assessment of dental caries and fluorosis in children in the fluoride endemic areas. The studies on the analysis of the prevalence and severity of malocclusion in these children are few and contradictory. The aim of the study was to assess the prevalence and severity of malocclusion in schoolchildren in the endemic fluorosis areas.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. A cross-sectional dental examination was performed according to the WHO method with a calibration expert in 361 schoolchildren aged 12 and 15 years old living in the areas with highly fluoridated drinking water (1.5-4.5 ppm). The clinical forms of dental fluorosis were assessed by the WHO classification and the prevalence and severity of malocclusion were evaluated by the DAI index. The obtained information was processed using the SPSS® Statistics 23.0 software.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. A high prevalence of dental fluorosis was revealed in the examined schoolchildren with the predominance of mild forms of pathology. Most of the children had malocclusion; mild malocclusion was most often diagnosed.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions. The study did not reveal any differences between the occurrence and severity of fluoride induced dental lesions, malocclusion in the studied age and sex groups.
