Актуальность. Сагиттальные аномалии и деформации зубных рядов у детей и подростков составляют более 50% всех зубочелюстных нарушений. Дистальная окклюзия зубных рядов занимает первое место в структуре зубочелюстных аномалий по сагиттальной плоскости, достигая 40-45% от общего числа деформаций зубочелюстной системы. Мезиальная окклюзия зубных рядов встречается гораздо реже (4-7%), но является одной из самых сложных для лечения деформацией. Эстетические изменения у детей с дистальной и мезиальной окклюзией зубных рядов осложняются нарушениями функций жевания, дыхания и речеобразования. Цель. Проведение сравнительного анализа ретенционного периода у детей и подростков с дистальной и мезиальной окклюзией зубных рядов.
Relevance. Sagittal abnormalities and deformations of the dentition in children and adolescents account for more than 50% of all dental and dental disorders.
