Недооценка важности экономического анализа является препятствием для внедрения программ профилактики кариеса.</p><p>Цель исследования – изучить, с использованием метода математического моделирования, клинико-экономическую эффективность программ профилактики  кариеса зубов, проводимых для школьников.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Для определения клинико-экономической эффективности  программ профилактики кариеса (образовательные, герметизации фиссур и фторидного  лака) использовали метод математического моделирования. Стоимость внедрения программ профилактики и затраты на лечебные мероприятия без применения мер  профилактики определяли в соответствии с расценками Волгоградского  территориального фонда обязательного медицинского страхования в 2018 году. Различия между стоимостью программы профилактики и затратами, необходимыми на лечение «предупрежденного кариеса», определяли термином «экономия».</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлено, что стоматологическая образовательная программа для первоклассников имеет кратковременную (два года) клинико-экономическую эффективность. При проведении в течение шести лет непрерывной стоматологической образовательной программы гигиенистами стоматологическими или врачами- стоматологами экономия составляла (в расчете на 100 детей) 99,5-115,0 тысяч рублей или 84,0-99,6 тысяч рублей соответственно. Экономический эффект программы герметизации фиссур первых постоянных моляров через два года появлялся только при  ее выполнении гигиенистами стоматологическими. Через шесть лет эффективность программы составляла 181,3 тысяч рублей или 146,2 тысяч рублей в расчете на 100 детей, в зависимости от выполнения программы гигиенистами стоматологическими или врачами-стоматологами. Стоимость программы применения фторидного лака оказалась выше, чем лечение предотвращенного кариеса. Однако количество «предотвращенного кариеса» после применения фторидного лака выше, чем при проведении  образовательных программ. Кроме того, применение фторидного лака, в отличие от  герметизации фиссур, позволяет предупреждать кариес гладких поверхностей постоянных зубов.</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. Метод математического моделирования может использоваться для  планирования программ профилактики кариеса с учетом наличия персонала и  финансовых ресурсов, оценки клинико-экономической эффективности внедрения профилактических программ.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. Underestimating the importance of economic analysis is the barrier to the implementation of cariesprevention programs.</p><p>The aim is to study with use of mathematic modeling method the clinical and economic effectiveness of dental caries prevention programs provided for schoolchildren.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The method of mathematic modeling was used to evaluate the clinical and economic efficiency of the caries prevention programs (educational, fissure sealing, fluoride varnish). The cost of prevention program implementation and the expenses for caries treatment without prevention were calculated according to the rate of Volgograd territorial mandatory medical insurance Fund for 2018 year. The differences between the caries prevention program’s cost and the expenses needed for the treatment of “prevented caries” were considered as saving.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. It was revealed that the Educational Dental Program for the first grade schoolchildren has short duration (2 years) of clinical-economic efficiency. The Continuous Educational Dental Program applied for 6 years by dental hygienists or dentists led to saving (per 100 children) of 99.5-115.0 or 84.0-99.6 thousand roubles respectively. The economic effect of The First Permanent Molar Fissure Sealing Program was revealed after 2 years only when The Program was implemented by dental hygienists. After 6 years of working with this Program the saving were 181.3 or 146.2 thousand roubles per 100 children depending on who implemented the Program, dental hygienists or dentists. The cost of Fluoride Varnish Program implementation was higher than the treatment of “prevented caries”. However, the number of “prevented caries” after fluoride varnish application is higher than after the implementation of the Educational Dental Programs. Moreover, fluoride varnish, in contrast to fissure sealing, prevents caries of smooth surfaces of permanent teeth.</p></sec><sec><title> </title><p> </p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions.
