Во всем мире отмечается рост распространенности сахарного диабета первого и второго типов среди детского населения. По данным Федерального регистра сахарного диабета Российской Федерации, ежегодный прирост заболеваемости диабетом среди детей составляет 2,25% (среди детей в возрасте 5-9 лет – 10,3%). В связи с этим врачам-стоматологам, оказывающим стоматологическую помощь детям, необходимы знания о влиянии сахарного диабета на стоматологическое здоровье детей.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Изучить взаимосвязь и взаимовлияние стоматологической патологии и сахарного диабета у детей.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Использованы базы данных eLibrary, PubMed, EMBASE, MedLine, CyberLeninka для поиска научных публикаций о взаимосвязи и взаимоотягощении сахарного диабета и стоматологических заболеваний у детей. Для последующего анализа были отобраны 47 публикаций.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Было установлено, что сахарный диабет неблагоприятно влияет на стоматологическое здоровье детей. У детей, больных сахарным диабетом, чаще, чем у здоровых сверстников, выявляются ускоренное прорезывание постоянных зубов, нарушение метаболизма костной ткани, изменение микробного пейзажа рта, снижение саливации и буферной емкости слюны, болезни пародонта и слизистой рта. В свою очередь, стоматологические заболевания утяжеляют течение сахарного диабета. Доказано взаимовлияние и взаимоотягощение сахарного диабета и воспалительных заболеваний пародонта. Однако взаимосвязь диабета и кариеса зубов у детей нуждается в дальнейшем изучении. Акцентирована роль и возможности врача-стоматолога в своевременном выявлении сахарного диабета.</p></sec><sec><title>Выводы</title><p>Выводы. Полученные сведения обосновывают необходимость разработки комплекса лечебно-диагностических мероприятий, направленных на раннюю диагностику сахарного диабета, мониторинг уровня глюкозы крови, повышение качества оказания медицинской помощи детям, страдающим сахарным диабетом и стоматологическими заболеваниями.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. All over the world there is an increase in prevalence of 1 and 2 types diabetes mellitus among the children’s population. According to the Federal diabetes register of the Russian Federation the annual diabetes incidence increase among children is 2.25% (in children aged 5-9 years – 10.3%). Therefore, the knowledge about diabetes mellitus influence on children’s oral health is essential for dentists who provide dental care for children.</p></sec><sec><title>Purpose</title><p>Purpose. To study the relationship and interaction between oral pathology and diabetes mellitus in children.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The databases of eLibrary, PubMed, EMBASE, MedLine, CyberLeninka were used to search scientific literature on the relationship and interaction between diabetes mellitus and oral diseases in children. Forty seven published works were selected for subsequent analysis.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. It was revealed that diabetes mellitus adversely affects oral health in children. Accelerated permanent teeth eruption, disorders of bone metabolism, reduction of salivary flow rate and saliva buffer capacity, periodontal and oral mucosa diseases were found in children with diabetes mellitus more frequently than in healthy peers. Accordingly, oral diseases deteriorated the course of diabetes. The mutual influence of diabetes mellitus and inflammatory periodontal diseases were proved, but the relationship between diabetes and dental caries among children needs further study. The role of a dentist in the timely detection of diabetes mellitus is emphasized.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions. The obtained data justify the need to develop a complex of medical and diagnostic measures aimed at early diagnosis of diabetes, monitoring blood glucose levels, improving the quality of medical care for patients of paediatric dental and somatic clinics who suffer from diabetes and oral diseases.</p></sec></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>дети</kwd><kwd>стоматологические заболевания</kwd><kwd>сахарный диабет</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>children</kwd><kwd>oral diseases</kwd><kwd>diabetes mellitus</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">N.
