Цель исследования - сравнить герметизм пломб и педиатрических стальных коронок при восстановлении временных моляров после пульпотомии. Исследование проведено на 32 временных молярах, удаленных по причине осложененного кариеса или физиологической резорбции корней у детей 5-10 лет. Герметизм реставраций при восстановлении временных моляров после пульпотомии как пломбами, так и коронками во многом зависит от соблюдения технологии, но даже у врача с малым опытом работы педиатрические стальные коронки имели лучший герметизм при восстановлении временных моляров после пульпотомии в эксперименте in vitro.

The aim of the study was to assess microleakage in primary molars restored with fillings and stainless steel preformed pediatric crowns (SSCs) after simulating pulpotomy in vitro. Twenty-four extracted primary molars were randomly divided into two groups. The in vitro study showed that microleakage from the SSCs margins depended on the expertise level of the operator but was still lower than in teeth restored with compomer fillings.
